Spring 2025 Trail Kids
DESCRIPTION:
What better way to embrace warmer temps and longer days than riding your bike with friends? Bike School Bentonville's Spring Trail Kids offers mountain biking classes for all kids ages 5-13, from beginner to advanced skill levels. Participants will be divided into groups based on ability, fitness, and age. Each week, they’ll explore the single-track trails of Slaughter Pen while developing skills and confidence on their mountain bikes. Our coaches provide top-notch instruction while fostering a fun and supportive environment for riders. We are certain your child will gain skills, confidence and memories that will last a lifetime!

WHERE:
Check-in at the Bike School Bentonville Field just north of Hidden Springs Dialysis Center (3000 NW A St, Bentonville, AR 72712). We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the program start time to check-in.
INCLEMENT WEATHER PROTOCOL:
Postponement dates & cancellation will be communicated via email or text in the event of poor weather/riding conditions.
Built-in “rain-out” dates: May 12, 14, 19, 21
COST: $475
Mountain bike in good, functioning condition:
Front & rear wheel disc brakes
Functional shifting gears
Mountain bike tires
*Bikes will be inspected for functionality & safety
Properly fitting helmet & safety gear (gloves, knee & elbow pads, etc.)
Appropriate seasonal attire (moisture wicking fabric in summer, warm layers in winter (no cotton), etc.)
Closed toe shoes
Riders must carry their own hydration & snacks
Trail Kids classes are ages 5 – 13, beginner to advanced abilities welcome (we split into different coaching groups based on ability, fitness, age, and friend request – friends who are of different riding abilities may not be placed together).
Ride Time is for for ages 13-17, beginner to advanced abilities are welcome. The focus of ride time is getting more time riding the trails in a coached environment.
